Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 2 October 2026. These terms apply to use of the King Kasongo PTY LTD website and to quote requests and sourcing, coordination and delivery-support services arranged by King Kasongo (“we”, “us”). They are governed by South African law. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms limits a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be limited, including rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECTA), where those Acts apply.

Our role and quote requests

Our website offers enquiry and quote-led sourcing services. A product listing or request-a-quote button is an invitation to enquire; it is not confirmation that goods are in stock, a final offer, an order, or a request for payment. We check the requested goods, supplier, destination and route, then provide a written quote or explain if we cannot proceed. A quote becomes an order only when the written quote identifies the relevant seller or service provider, describes the goods or services and material terms, and you accept it in the manner stated in that quote. The quote will state any validity period and any conditions.

Price, payment and confirmation

Before you are asked to accept or pay for an order, we will provide the applicable price and material charges known at that stage, including sourcing or coordination charges, delivery or collection arrangements, taxes, duties and other estimated border costs where applicable, as well as payment terms. Any estimate, currency conversion or delivery date that depends on a supplier, carrier, exchange rate or customs authority will be identified as an estimate. Do not pay against an enquiry alone. Pay only in accordance with a written quote or invoice issued through our confirmed business contact details. We will confirm receipt and next steps.

Supplier, delivery and cross-border arrangements

Depending on the written quote, King Kasongo may coordinate sourcing or delivery support, or a third party may be the seller or service provider. The quote will identify the parties and responsibilities for the particular transaction. Availability, condition, specifications, warranty, delivery or collection arrangements, customs documents and route are subject to written confirmation for that transaction. Import permits, admissibility, duties, taxes, customs classification and clearance decisions are determined by the relevant authorities and can vary by destination and goods. We will not represent an estimate as a final customs decision.

Cancellations, returns and refunds

Any cancellation, return, repair, replacement or refund request will be handled under the transaction terms and the rights and remedies available under applicable law, including the CPA where it applies. These terms do not remove statutory rights or create a blanket no-refund rule. Please contact us promptly at info@king-kasongo.co.za with your order reference and the issue. Any additional transaction-specific cancellation or return conditions will be disclosed in writing before you accept the quote. See our separate Refunds page for the current request process.

Your information and website use

We use information supplied through the website to respond to enquiries, prepare quotes, coordinate services and provide support, as explained in our Privacy Policy. Please provide accurate contact, destination and request details, and do not submit information you are not authorised to share. You may use the website only lawfully and must not interfere with its operation or security.

Complaints and contact

For an enquiry, order issue or complaint, contact King Kasongo PTY LTD at info@king-kasongo.co.za or +27 60 670 2444 and include your quote or order reference. Our business address is Shop 1 Longpoint Building, 1197 Witkoppen Road, Lonehill, Sandton, 2062. We will review the details and respond through the contact channel provided.

No waiver of legal rights

Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability, a warranty, or a consumer right where the law does not permit that exclusion or restriction. If any term is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. Any change to a transaction-specific quote or agreement must be confirmed in writing by the parties.
